 Biography:

Chris Telmer is an associate professor of financial economics at Carnegie Mellon University. He is also a research consultant for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

 Professional affiliations:

Professor Telmer is an associate editor of the European Economic Review and the Journal of Financial Econometrics.

 Awards:

Professor Telmer is a four-time recipient of National Science Foundation research grants.  In 2001 he won the George Leland Bach Award for MBA teaching at Carnegie Mellon. In 1995 he won the Undergraduate Business Teaching Award at Carnegie Mellon.

 Research interests:

Labor-market risk and asset pricing, life-cycle economics, exchange rates
