| Prof. Antoni Trilla is Chief of Preventive Medicine and Epidemiology at Hospital Clínic in Barcelona. He also serves as an advisor to the Catalan government's Department of Health, the Spanish Health Ministry, and the European Science Foundation on matters of communicable diseases.
He is an adjunct professor of Preventative Medicine and Public Health at the University of Barcelona (UB). He has a Master in the Economics of Health Management from the UB and the UPF, and a Master in Hospital Management and Health Services from the UB. His medical career also includes a Postgraduate Fellowship Training in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Services Research (1990) at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
