| Verónica Ruiz is Vice President at BBVA Group. She is in charge of South America and USA Business Development department in Global Markets area, where she leads the strategic planning, the corporate development (M&A, JVs, partnerships) and the performance management for the region. Before her current responsibility, she worked as manager of Global Markets strategy area and as strategy analyst in Wholesale Banking and Asset Management.
She holds a Master degree in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University as well as a two-year Master of Quantitative Finance from CEMFI (Centro de Estudios Monetarios y Financieros - Madrid)
Prior to join BBVA in 2006, she did an internship as research analyst at Prime Minister’s Economic Office (Moncloa-Madrid). Additionally, she is an active contributor in Madrid Stock Exchange Magazine. |
