 Biography:

Claudio Aranzadi is a partner of Enerma Consultores, a member of the Advisory Board of CDTI (Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnólogico Industrial) and of the Advisory Board for the Spanish Energy Outlook 2030. He is also the President of the Advisory Board of Fundación de Estudios Financieros and a member of boards of several other institutions.

In the public sector he has been minister of Industry and Energy, and minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism for the Spanish government; chairman and CEO of INI (former Spanish conglomerate of state-owned firms), and Spanish ambassador to the OECD.

In the private sector he has been the chairman of BravoSolution España (an e-procurement firm belonging to Italcementi Group), an international equity investment advisor for Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria and an economist in the Research Department of Banco de Vizcaya at the beginning of his career.
