Regulation and Competition Seminar Series

Students in the Competition and Market Regulation Program have a wealth of opportunities to complement their coursework with conferences and seminars in their field of specialization. Chief among these is the Regulation and Competition Seminar Series, which is organized by the Department of Economics and Business of the UPF, the Comisión del Mercado de las Telecomunicaciones (CMT), and the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics.

These seminars feature academics, regulators, and practitioners who discuss specific regulatory and competitive issues. Specialists at the forefront of their field are invited to present their research in a rigorous but non-technical manner. In addition to giving students a variety of perspectives on regulatory issues, it also gives them an opportunity to network with top professionals in the industry.
