"I am a Research Fellow at Evidence for Policy Design (EPoD), a research program within Harvard's Center for International Development. EPoD, formerly MDI, produces microeconomic research directed at shaping policy in developing countries. All of our projects are conducted abroad and thus the job is an exciting mix of microeconomic policy design, econometric analysis and fieldwork. The projects cover a wide range of subjects such as microfinance or the design of environmental auditing schemes. The International Trade, Finance and Development master program prepared me very well for this job, as I apply the skills I learned in class every day. Also, outside the classroom, the faculty at the Barcelona GSE never hesitated in taking time to give career advice or share their personal take on the world of economics." |
