About Google Apps

Google Apps is a suite of web-based messaging and collaboration applications that Google hosts on their own servers. Google provides these applications as a "service," rather than as software to download and install. To access these applications, you simply use a web browser on a computer that's connected to the Internet.

FAQ for former users of GSE webmail via Microsoft Exchange

Will my email address change?

No, your email address won't change! You'll continue to receive all your email at your current address.

 

Will my old password still work?

No. To log in to the new system for the first time, please use the temporary password you received by email before the system update. Once you log in you will be prompted to change this to a password of your choosing. Please contact administrator@barcelonagse.eu to request a new temporary password.

 

Are you migrating my email and calendar to Google Apps?

Yes, we have already migrated all of your email messages, calendar events, and personal contacts from Microsoft Exchange to Google Apps. They will be ready for you when you log in to your new Google Apps account.

 

What do I have to do to start using my new Google Apps account?

Review the tips in the Quick Start Guide for former Exchange users, then log in and enjoy the new features of your Barcelona GSE account.
