Reinhard Selten

It is with great sorrow that we would like to inform you that Reinhard Selten, member of our Scientific Council since the foundation of the BSE, passed away on August 23. Professor Selten was an example of rigorous thinking and commitment to the development of economic research in Europe. He strongly supported the BSE goals and activities, and we were fortunate to benefit from his wise advice, which we will miss.
