IMF Head of Talent Acquisition says BGSE students have the combination of hard and soft skills the IMF needs

The Head of Talent Acquisition at the International Monetary Fund gave a recruitment talk to Barcelona GSE masters and PhD students this May. She emphasized the importance of soft skills in addition to technical skills when considering candidates for positions with the IMF:

"All of the Barcelona GSE students I've met have been personable as well as technically prepared. Hard skills can only get you so far. At the IMF we need people with soft skills who are able to perform analysis but can also communicate clearly and openly."
