Director Teresa Garcia-Milà represented the BSE at a royal audience for Severo Ochoa Research Excellence Centers

Last month, Spain's King Felipe and Queen Leticia received the directors of those research centers that have been distinguished with the Severo Ochoa Research Excellence accreditation at an audience in Madrid.

The Severo Ochoa Program is sponsored by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. It recognizes those institutions that are defining the global scientific debate. The Barcelona School of Economics is the only institution dedicated to research on Economics and the social sciences to obtain the Severo Ochoa accreditation, both in the first edition (2011-2015) and the second (2016-2019).
