Julian di Giovanni is Marie Curie IIF Fellow at UPF, Associate Researcher at CREI, and Barcelona GSE Research Professor. He is also a Research Fellow at CEPR. Professor di Giovanni is Deputy Director for Research at the Barcelona GSE.
Previously he was Economist at the International Monetary Fund and Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto.
His research focuses on the interaction between international trade and macroeconomic fluctuations. He has been a panel member of Economic Policy and is Associate Editor of the Journal of International Economics (2016-2018).
