Hrvoje Stojic is a PhD candidate at UPF (GPEFM) and lecturer for course on Advanced Computational Methods in Master in Data Science (BGSE) program. His main research interest is to understand cognitive processes that underlie human learning and decision making. This is an interdisciplinary topic that spans several disciplines and in his work he relies on machine learning methods such as reinforcement learning. He has been a frequent visitor to Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin and University College London. He is experienced user of R and enjoys teaching data science tools and methods.
