Research Recognition Program

Objective

The Barcelona GSE Recognition Program aims to acknowledge, promote and disseminate publications in high impact economic journals1 by researchers based in Catalonia.2

Eligibility

Only researchers who are currently Affiliated Professors at the Barcelona GSE are eligible to participate in the Recognition Program. In order to participate, authors are required to submit published articles with affiliation “X and Barcelona GSE”, where ‘X’ refers to Barcelona GSE academic units (UPF, UAB, IAE-CSIC, CREI, or any combination of them including ICREA and MOVE).3

Also eligible are papers accepted before March 1, 2012 without the double affiliation but including an acknowledgement showing the support of the Barcelona GSE.

Procedure

The Program opens its Call early each fall. When the 2012 Call opens, applicants shall submit their 2009-11 publications to recognition@barcelonagse.eu. There is no need to submit publications that were already recognized in previous years.

For full details about cash awards, publication weights, and payments, please download the last call for papers (2011) [pdf].

See the list below.

Participation of non-GSE affiliated scholars in the 2012 Call has not yet been confirmed.

Third affiliations are also admitted, but they must be listed after Barcelona GSE.
