Suzanne Scotchmer is Professor of Economics, Law and Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. Her main academic interest at the moment is the economics, policy and law of innovation, including intellectual property. Suzanne Scotchmer was a guest speaker at the 17th Barcelona Economics Lecture. Prof. Scotchmer's lecture was broadcast live via streaming web video on the GSE's website, enabling the public in the city and around the world to follow the lecture and subsequent discussion in real time.
