What is the Barcelona GSE Summer Forum?

The Barcelona GSE Summer Forum is a series of independent workshops and policy events that cover the main fields of Economics. The objective of the Summer Forum is to bring top researchers from around the globe to Barcelona to debate the present and future of the frontier of knowledge in Economics.

Over 400 economic researchers from around the world participate in the first Barcelona GSE Summer Forum


The Barcelona GSE Summer Forum is the first international event of this type and this scope to be organized in Europe.


Over 400 academics and economists from top universities and central banks participated in 17 workshops and two policy roundtables open to the public.
