BBVA Foundation has announced the winning projects for its 2017 call for Scientific Research Teams in Economy and Digital Society. Among the five projects chosen is "Digital Technology, Ideological Polarization, and Intolerance," which will be conducted by principal investigator Ruben Enikolopov (ICREA-UPF and Barcelona GSE) and his team: Ruben Durante (UPF and Barcelona GSE), Maria Petrova (ICREA-UPF and Barcelona GSE), and Aina Gallego Dobon (IBEI).
Projects are evaluated and selected by an independent commission for their originality and scientific quality, and for their potential contributions to our understanding of digital society from an economic, sociologic, or psychological perspective.
