Fernando Broner and José-Luis Peydró named Barcelona GSE Research Professors

Barcelona GSE

Professors Fernando Broner (CREI, UPF and Barcelona GSE) and José-Luis Peydró (ICREA-UPF and Barcelona GSE) have been named Barcelona GSE Research Professors by the School's leadership.

The distinction of Barcelona GSE Research Professor is a joint appointment between the Barcelona GSE and one of the School's academic units, and was created in 2009 to increase the critical mass of top scientists at the Barcelona GSE. Research Professorships are funded by the School's research endowment, which is dedicated exclusively to supporting these appointments. With these new appointments, there are now 13 Barcelona GSE Research Professors.
