Martin Eichenbaum delivers 40th Barcelona GSE Lecture

Martin Eichenbaum (Northwestern University) discussed "Rethinking Fiscal Policy in an Era of Low Interest Rates" at Banc Sabadell on May 16, 2019.
The lecture was introduced by Sofía Rodríguez, Head of Banc Sabadell's Macroeconomics and Financial Stability Division, and Albert Marcet, Barcelona GSE Research Professor.

In his lecture, Prof. Eichenbaum argued for the use of fiscal policy to stimulate growth and combat severe recessions.
