Student Profile

The Barcelona GSE Class of 2019 brings together 225 talented students from 54 countries.

The 12th cohort of Master's students fulfills the Barcelona GSE's objective of attracting individuals with an international focus, outstanding academic backgrounds, and a diverse range of professional experiences.

Most students have undergraduate degrees in Economics or Finance. Others come from Engineering, Mathematics, or other backgrounds.

Strong quantitative skills are essential to getting the most out of our program offerings.

Work experience before the master program

An education at the Barcelona GSE is a wise choice for both freshly-graduated undergrads and those who have already in the workforce looking to improve and enhance their own skill set. 

Students will benefit from connecting with classmates who have professional experience at consulting firms, international organizations, and banks as well as research institutions and government agencies.

Students from around the world

85% of students in the Class of 2019 are from outside of Spain, and 46% of students came from outside Europe. These students bring an enriching mixture of professional backgrounds, cultural perspectives, and personal experiences to the classroom.
