The Economic Analysis of Electoral Politics

This workshop aims at creating an annual European meeting of top researchers in political economy. It is a continuation of the one organized in 2013-17 under the same title, which counted with the participation of prominent scholars from all around the world, including Gustavo Bobonis (Toronto), Katherine Casey (Stanford), Ernesto Dal Bò (U.C. Berkeley), Allan Drazen (Maryland), Georgy Egorov (Northwestern), Matthew Gentzkow (Stanford), Antonio Merlo (Pennsylvania), Tommaso Naniccini (Bocconi), Rohini Pande (Harvard), Mark Rosenzweig (Yale), and James Snyder (Harvard), among others. We encourage the submission of empirical and theoretical papers from economics and political science.

Participants are welcome to stay for other workshops that will take place during the week, particularly the workshops on Political Institutions and on Geography, Economic Policy and Political Structure
