The graduation ceremony for students in the sixth promotion of Barcelona GSE master programs was held on Monday, July 8 at AXA Auditorium, headquarters of Barcelona GSE board member institution AXA Group.
The 2012-13 master programs were: Competition and Market Regulation; Economics; Economics of Public Policy; Finance; Health Economics and Policy; International Trade, Finance, and Development; and Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets.

The graduation keynote was delivered by Ms. Marta Lacambra, Director-General of Barcelona GSE board member institution Fundació Catalunya - La Pedrera.
Graduation certificates were distributed to students by Ms. Lacambra together with Mr. Josep Alfonso, Director of Communications and Institutional Relations for AXA Spain; Prof. Ramon Marimon, Chairman of the Barcelona GSE; and representatives of the two universities promoting the Barcelona GSE – Dr. Montse Farell, Vicerector of Economy and Organization at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona; and Dr. Jaume Casals, Rector of Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
After the distribution of certificates, alumnus Lluís Mateo '09 took the stage to welcome the new graduates to the Barcelona GSE Alumni community. With the addition of the new class, there are now more than 1,000 Barcelona GSE master program alumni. Following Mr. Mateo's remarks, five members of the graduating class addressed their fellow classmates. The speakers were:
- Dean Dulay '13 (Economics)
- Ria Ivandic '13 (Economics)
- Marlene Johler '13 (International Trade, Finance and Development)
- Manuel Muñoz '13 (Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets)
- Thang Nguyen '13 (Economics of Public Policy)
