Profs. Xavier Freixas and Nicola Gennaioli appointed BSE Research Professors

This January, two more members of the BSE affiliated faculty have been appointed BSE Research Professors. This distinction is a joint appointment between the BSE and one of the School's founding academic bodies, and was created in the spring of 2009 to increase the critical mass of top scientists at the GSE. Research Professorships are funded by the School's research endowment, which is dedicated exclusively to supporting these appointments.

The new BSE Research Professors are Prof. Xavier Freixas (UPF and BSE), and Prof. Nicola Gennaioli (CREI-UPF and BSE). They join seven other BSE affiliated professors who were appointed earlier, including Prof. Albert Marcet (ICREA-IAE and BSE) who began his appointment in Fall 2010.
