The World Bank selects BSE for recruitment presentation

The BSE was included as one of the institutes visited by the World Bank Group for recruitment presentations due to the reputation of the institute and the talent that it attracts. 

On January 7th 2016, The World Bank Group (WBG) held a recruitment talk at The BSE as part of its recruitment tour around Europe. The BSE was the only institute in Spain to be selected for recruitment talks from the WBG.

The presentation was given by two of the Program Coordinators from the WBG and over one hundred students attended. The WBG described the three main training programs that they offer, which fit with the courses at the BSE. These include Internships, an Analyst Program and a Young Professionals Program. The programs are offered to “young talent who have both a passion for international development and the leadership potential to grow in fascinating top technical and managerial roles in the World Bank Group”.

The BSE Career Services department maintains a close relationship with the World Bank Group who has become one of the top recruiters of graduates at our School. In total, seventeen BSE Alumni are now working for the institution. Two Alumni from the class of 2013, Alumni Matias Antonio and Juan José Cortina, explained that one of the highlights of working for the World Bank was that it provides limitless opportunities for learning about different topics through various seminars and conferences that are organized by the employer.

The BSE Career Services is committed to attracting worldwide recruiters to campus from industries such as consulting firms, commercial and investment banks, international organizations and a miscellaneous of industries targeting data science students. Most of the companies are based in London, Brussels, Frankfurt or Paris, with the aim of recruiting for positions based at their head offices in these cities or at their branches located in other countries.
