Natalia Fabra is currently Associate Professor at the Economics Department of University Carlos III of Madrid. She is also a Guest Professor of the Barcelona GSE, where she has taught the course on Energy Economics in the master program in Competition and Market Regulation since 2007. Natalia is an applied micro-economist, working mainly on regulation and competition policy issues in the energy sector. She has published in top international journals, such as The American Economic Review, The Rand Journal of Economics, The Economic Journal and The Journal of Industrial Economics. She has a long experience of teaching energy economics to different types of audiences, including professionals, PhD students and undergraduates. Natalia Fabra also has experience as an economic consultant in regulation and competition policy cases in the energy sector. She is a member of the Economic Advisory Group at the DG-COMP, Joint Academic Director at the Center for Regulation in Europe (CERRE) and a member of the Oxera Economic Council.
